Placement Testing Locations
Students must pay the cashier prior to testing.
Testing in Yakima is conducted on a drop in basis. You may drop in any time during testing hours. No appointments required.
Students must pay the cashier and be ready to test by 5:30 pm depending on the session or day selected.
All students testing in Grandview must to receive a testing appointment. Late arrivals will be referred to the next available testing session.
All students must have applied to the college and received a Student ID Number (SID) to take the Placement Test(s). Beginning October 22, all students in Grandview will need to provide a SID to take placement test.
- Yakima and Grandview Testing Services will be closed on all holidays and college closures. The test schedule is subject to change.

The placement testing fee is $20 per session and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
All students must have applied to the collegeMG阿拉德之怒官网 and received a Student ID Number to take the Placement Testing.
What to bring
- YVC Student ID number (Located in your Welcome Letter.)
- $20.00 payment
- Photo identification: drivers license, state ID card, current high school ID, tribal ID, or passport.
Retesting is by permission only; see a test proctor for instructions. No retests allowed after starting or taking a math class at YVC.
